The heat pump air conditioners that make up Syen’s range are ideal for heating as well as cooling.
Installation and operation
Use a unit that is appropriate for the size of the room, leave the sizing and selection of the indoor and outdoor unit installation location to a professional, as a properly positioned indoor unit is essential for correct operation. As with all heating solutions, it is necessary to provide individual heating per room for air-conditioned spaces, and in case of a larger space, even more air-conditioners are recommended for more even heat distribution.
Depending on the conditions of the room, the distribution of hot air is not always uniform, the higher fan level helps to equalize this. The device does not produce radiant heat, but heats with air circulation, so if it stops, it produces a faster temperature drop than water heating systems or provides a different kind of comfort. Continuous operation of the equipment is recommended for more accurate temperature control and to prevent heat drop in the room. The highest heating output is achieved at the highest fan speed, and the power output is also lower at lower fan speeds.
During heating, depending on the weather conditions, ice may form on the outdoor unit and melt at certain intervals. During this time, the unit will temporarily operate at a higher noise level, while the heating mode is paused. When using the heating mode, try different setting options in order to experience how the appliance provides the highest level of comfort (for example, I-Feel, thermometer built into the wall controller, etc.).
Installing more equipment will increase the reliability of your heating. In addition to the general maintenance, it is recommended to clean the filter of the indoor unit more often. In case of continuous use, it is recommended to check the condition of the filters every 1-2 weeks and clean them if necessary.
